Jennifer Antonucci has been consulting for Teachers21 for more than a decade. Teachers and administrators both seek her support in the areas of assessment, standards based teaching and curriculum, differentiated instruction, coaching and mentoring, classroom management, and new teacher support and evaluation.
Prior to her work with Teachers21, Jen was an administrator at North Middlesex Regional High School in Townsend and an educational specialist for the Massachusetts Department of Education. Jen’s work for the Department included intensive work on policy development and long term planning as well as statewide trainings on the performance standards and evaluation procedures for teachers and administrators. She coordinated state and federal grant programs for eleven Time and Learning sites and thirty-nine Community Service Learning sites while also developing extensive technical assistance materials that resulted in three publications—Student Learning Time, Teachers Performance Standards, and Recertification.
A former mathematics teacher at the secondary level, Jen served as a facilitator of the restructuring process in the Falmouth Public Schools as a member of the Coalition of Essential Schools team. She earned her B.S. in Mathematics from Fairfield University where she was a Division 1 varsity athlete in field hockey and softball. Her Master’s degree from Northeastern University is in Curriculum and Instruction.
