Our Mission

Our mission is to ensure that every student learns from effective and caring teachers and that competent and persistent leaders guide every school.  Our efforts as an organization are aimed at strengthening teacher and leader expertise.

To accomplish this goal we provide robust professional development opportunities, conduct research into promising practice, and pursue policy initiatives that put in place rigorous standards, supports, and accountability for all educators.

Our Work

Teachers21 partners with a broad base of educational stakeholders to ensure that educational practice, research, and policy are coordinated to create stronger conditions for professional learning.

Teachers21 provides an extensive program of rigorous professional development opportunities for teachers and administrators that include graduate-level courses, workshops, job-embedded professional development, and leadership and instructional coaching.

Teachers21 is an independent, nonprofit 501(c)3 organization
