Courses, Workshops and Classroom Coaching
Teachers 21 offers a variety of professional development courses and workshops. Formats are customized for a district or school and can be provided as 36-hour graduate courses, two-day institutes, half- and full-day workshops, and embedded coaching. The organization’s consultants bring in-depth experiences in very different areas– leadership and administration, school culture, supervision and evaluation, parent relations, instruction in the core subject areas, differentiation, formative assessment, English language learners, special education, and so on.
For Teachers
Studies have shown that what a teacher knows, believes, and can do is what matters most when it comes to student achievement. Teachers 21 offers opportunities for educators to hone their instructional skills, to expand their content knowledge and pedagogy, to deepen their curriculum, and to extend their understanding of children and their differences.

For Leaders
Teachers 21 engages school leaders in the growing knowledge base on leadership and school transformation. Opportunities for coaching, sounding board sessions, and short-term consultations often enable a principal, department chair or superintendent to probe all facets of an emerging problem and move beyond a simplistic solution that is not sustainable.
