Linda Waters, M.Ed., began her teaching career as a general and special educator in East Providence, Rhode Island in 1974. After moving to Massachusetts, she worked as a special educator, Team Chair, and Program Director in the Natick Public Schools for eleven years. In 2002, Linda became the Director of Special Education in the Foxboro Public Schools. Following her time in Foxboro, she became the Director of Pupil Services in the Franklin Public Schools, and spent the last five years of her public school career as the Director of Student Services in the Wellesley Public Schools. For the past ten years, Linda has been an adjunct instructor at Simmons College and Framingham State University where she teaches graduate level courses in special education. Since her retirement in 2014, Linda had been consulting with school districts and presenting workshops on special education topics.
